Energy, Subsea and Oil & Gas
Renewable energy, subsea and oil & gas industry demands flexibility, extended management and engineering skills due to the on- and off-shore project execution and use of equipment.
Combiteq has been part of a variety of projects for the oil & gas industry. Mostly related to subsea environment and Liquid Natural Gas (LNG). From Subsea equipment and products for projects like Jack& St Malo, West Nile Delta, Troll etc.,to a new train for MLNG Tiga (liquid natural gas plant in malaysia). In the recent years, also energy transmission links are part of our projects, like the power link between Norway and Germany (Nordlink) or links to windfarms (Like London Array).
Theoretical and practical experiences have been build up and used ongoing. Specifically, but not limited, to the following areas:
-
Mechanical behavior of parts, equipment and products exposed to external/internal forces, like umbilicals/power cables & accessories for shallow and deep water (including anchor clamps, joints, BSR's, terminations etc.).
-
Test methods & procedures
-
Manage, design, build and commission a variety of rigs and setups to expose equipment and products to their limits (Included FAT tests).
-
Measurement & control software for rigs and measurement devices.
-
Real scale lifetime simulations (fatigue properties)
-
Miscellaneous equipment for LNG plant - cranes, filters, mixers and silencers.
These projects were carried out as project manager, senior engineer and supervisor mechanical testing. All tasks mentioned under products and services have been carried out in several projects.
